After more than twenty years in the construction business in Mascoutah, master carpenter Don Schlichter followed his passion for fine woodworking. Don and Mary Jane opened the store in November 1994.
What started with an appreciation for solid wood became a place where families could slow down, compare real craftsmanship, and find furniture designed for decades of use.
